OPPORTUNITY FOR BIBLE STUDY

It is hard to believe that we have finished our Wednesday night study on the book of Genesis. It only took fifty lessons. I love this book. In the beginning - God! If you get that everything makes sense. If you miss that nothing will ever make sense. I will remind you that all of our lessons have been recorded and they are available to listen to or download online.

We will begin our new Bible study this Wednesday night. We will look at the book of Judges. In our time I can not think of a better study. In the book of Judges "everyone did what was right in their own eyes." They lived as though God's word had never been given. The results were devastating. God's people had the potential for greatness and the capacity for catastrophe. I hope you will bring your Bible and join us on Wednesday nights.

On Sunday morning we have begun a study in Bible Class on the Gospel of Mark. (This is a new study for me.) In this Gospel we will be introduced to Jesus the Son of God. We will then be called to follow Him. Mark will only take 16 chapters to tell the story so you better hurry to class.

We will soon begin a study on Sunday nights in the book of Amos. I am tempted to title this series, "Lifestyles of the Rich and Amos." Amos will teach that being a child of God demands something. Compromise is not an option! Bring your Bible and find those clean white pages in Amos. (Ladies are invited to join our Tuesday morning Bible study in the book of John.)

I love Bible study!
